What’s included in the cover design and setup for print and ebooks?
Pricing starts at $100 for ebooks. $150 for printed books.
Free one-on-one consulting by phone and email when in a design contract.
Cover Layout is done from hi-resolution, client provided images and book cover description. The cover includes: front, back cover, barcode, correct sizing for spine, with "bleed" (according to printer's specs).
Ebook covers are completed from the print book cover. Cover Image: If the client does not have an image, we can purchase a stock image.Cover Layout is 1-3 samples, and up to 2 revisions, if necessary. 5 designs are quoted..
Barcodes are created from the ISBN, for the back cover.
Graphic elements are edited/sized for the cover (images for print need much higher resolution than for web or ebooks.)
Quick turnaround. 1 – 2 weeks for a print-ready proof. (This depends on clients’ proofing time.)
Royalties are exclusively yours. We retain no rights or royalties.
Discounts of 10% are given for subsequent book interiors and covers within a book series.
Final file delivery for publication is via email, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

Additional costs rarely arise but, once in awhile there is something else you need from our graphic designers after receiving and agreeing with the quote; such as editing or proofing or starting with a revised print book size, or starting over with a resubmitted manuscript.
