What’s included in the cover design and setup for print and ebooks?

Free one-on-one consulting by phone and email when in a design contract.
Cover Layout is done from hi-resolution, client provided images and text. This is the front, back cover, barcode, correct sizing for spine, with "bleed" (according to printer's specs). Ebook covers are completed from the print book cover. Cover Image: If the client does not have an image, we can purchase a cover image and the cost is added to the final bill. Additional cover work is per hour (see additional services below).
Cover Layout is 3 samples, and up to 2 revisions, if necessary. If more than 5 designs are requested there is an additional fee per hour.
Proper file formats provided for client's publisher/printer, and for the ebook store.
Barcodes created from the ISBN for the back cover.
Graphic elements edited/sized for cover (images for print need much higher resolution than for web or ebooks. 3 MB or higher for cover.)
Quick turnaround. 1 – 2 weeks for print-ready proof. (This depends on author proofing time.)
Royalties are exclusively yours. We retain no rights or royalties.
Discounts of 10% for subsequent book interiors and covers within a book series.
Final file delivery for publication is via Email, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

Additional costs rarely arise but, once in awhile there is something else you need from our graphic designers after receiving and agreeing with the quote; such as editing or proofing or starting with a revised print book size, or starting over with a resubmitted manuscript.
