What’s included in the interior design and formatting for print and ebooks?
Pricing can start as low as $275 for interior book design of a 72-page (or 25,000) book of primarily text. Quotes are determined by complexity.
Publishing companies and repeat clients receive a discount.
Free one-on-one consulting by phone and email when in a design contract.
Complete Word doc manuscript “cleanup” to prepare for the best text placement into InDesign.
Complete book interior, custom styled per the required specifications of the printer, distribution method, or online store.
Book design layout samples. A sample is provided of our design style of a few chapters. We collaborate with you before proceeding with formatting the full print-ready pdf proof.
Print-ready files. These are provided in proper document sizing and file formats per the preferred printer’s specifications.
Graphic elements are edited/sized properly per printing company and ebook distributor specifications.
Quick turnaround. 1 – 3 weeks for print-ready proof. (This depends on author proofing time.)
Unlimited text corrections after formatting. (With the exception of shifting text or pages, or rewriting which is considered “editing” and can incur additional fees.)
Unlimited active hyperlinks in the eBook (with the exception of hyperlinks throughout a bibliography which will incur additional fees).
Royalties are exclusively yours. We retain no rights or royalties.
Discounts of 10% for subsequent book interiors within a book series.
Email, Google Drive, or Dropbox delivery to you, of all final print-ready and ebook files for publishing.

Additional costs rarely arise but, once in awhile there is something else you need from our graphic designers after receiving and agreeing with the quote; such as editing or proofing or starting with a revised print book size, or starting over with a resubmitted manuscript.
